DR Jeff Payne
Doctor Jeffrey Payne grew up in Calgary Alberta Canada. He enjoyed many sports as a child including basketball, hockey, soccer, and football. In high school his involvement as a student trainer for various sports teams perpetuated his interest in physical medicine. He attended the University of Calgary focusing on courses like biomechanics, anatomy and neurology, that prepared him for his career as a Chiropractor.
Dr. Payne then moved to San Jose California to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West Campus.
After chiropractic school he joined a prevalent sport chiropractic clinic in San Jose CA. While practicing in California he had the privilege of working with elite athletes including Olympians and X-games athletes.
He also helped coordinate the sports medicine coverage for several large Bay area events including Sea Otter Classic, Canary Half Century with Stanford Medical, The Dew Tour, North Face Endurance Challenge, Kaiser Half Marathon and Susan G Komen Walk for the Cure.
Using the skills he gained while working with professionals Dr Payne acquired an interest in helping a wider variety of injuries, including people involved in an accident, patients hurt on the job, those with chronic pain and the elderly. His passion is to combine the skills used on professional athletes and bring them to all his patients. His approaches include extremity adjusting, Graston, FAKTR, ART and physical therapy modalities.
