Michael Paredes

With a physiotherapy career spanning more than three decades across the Philippines and Canada, Michael brings extensive hospital, private-practice, teaching, and rehabilitation experience to every patient he treats. He currently practices with Alberta Health Services at Rockyview General Hospital and is a Post-Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy candidate at Utica University, New York, USA.

His 16 years extensive acute-care experience spans the Emergency Department, Intensive Care ICU/CCU, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Urology, General Surgery, Day Surgery/Mastectomy, Acute Geriatrics, Mental Health, and Transition unit. He has also worked in community Home Care as a Falls Prevention Specialist at South Calgary Health Centre in 2013.

Michael’s clinical expertise includes musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation, vestibular and cardiorespiratory.
