Custom Orthotics for Foot Support and Alignment

Custom orthotics are foot support devices made to match the shape of your feet and the way you walk or stand. Our team assesses factors such as foot structure, gait, posture, and areas of discomfort, and based on this information, a device is designed to help distribute pressure more evenly across the foot, provide support to the arches, and assist with overall alignment of the lower limbs.

In clinical practice, orthotics may be recommended for a range of concerns, including foot pain, heel pain, flat feet, high arches, or discomfort related to prolonged standing or walking. They can also be used to help manage symptoms associated with conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tendon irritation, or joint stress.

Orthotics may be used during work, sports, or routine daily activities. The aim is to provide a comfortable and supportive fit that helps maintain natural movement and reduces strain on the feet and lower body during regular tasks.

What Are Custom Orthotics?

Custom orthotics are inserts made from your measurements. Materials and stiffness vary based on activity level, footwear type, and clinical findings. They are different from over-the-counter insoles because they are shaped from your assessment.

Common Reasons People Choose Orthotics

  • Foot fatigue during standing or walking
  • Arch soreness or heel discomfort
  • Shin or knee irritation with activity
  • Uneven shoe wear patterns
  • Recurring calluses or forefoot pressure
  • Postural alignment concerns starting at the feet

Fitting and Care Process

  • Assessment – History, footwear review, and gait analysis to understand your goals and pressure points.
  • Measurements – Foot measurements or a 3D impression to capture structure and alignment.
  • Device Selection – Material and design are chosen based on activity level and footwear style.
